Painter - Photographer - Corporate Worker in London

The attraction is in the act of making and creating.

There’s that rush of positivity when you start believing in the work, in the ideas coming from a place you want to trust. It’s extremely hopeful and poetic. A craving that entices me to keep trying to make my ideas part of my reality. I imagine that’s what religious people experience, a sense of FAITH in something without a proof of it’s existence.

My work is a reflexion of my conflict with being optimistic and the sentiment of social dissociation and cynicism. I want to love people but I highly struggle with understanding our ways of coexisting. I think I am different but we are all essentially the same. Where are we the same? In our love, hate, happiness, envy, joy, shame, surprise, disappointment, apprehension, sadness, pride, fear, contentment, anger, boredom, more but hopefully, in our acceptance.

From painting to photography, both mediums are used to reflect my vision of an abstractly strange and yet somewhat figurative universe of likeable beings, performing poetically their unconventional co-existence.
